REVIEW AND INITIAL CONSULTATION
Tax Return anxiety is real and can be debilitating for individuals and companies alike. We deal with artists and arts organisations every day and have seen pretty much everything. So we always begin with an initial consultation at no charge. In the hour or so this takes we can pretty much give you a good indication of where you are at and how things are likely to play out.
Until we do the work we can't advise you on the size of your refund or the amount you may have to pay however we will give you an indication of the likely outcome. This meeting is always at no cost to you and in the end, we will let you know that if you want to proceed we will provide you with a fixed price for us to do the work. This enables you to understand, where you are at, the likely outcome of your return and our fee.
Listed below are our standard fees. Generally, we will stick to these however there are sometimes complexities such as overseas earnings or the sale of properties that can make our task more involved.
If this is the case we will adjust our base fee accordingly so that before we take you on as a client we are both clear as to what the agreed fee is.

For sole traders, where we can make sure that you get all of the specialist deductions and benefits that apply to the creative industries.

Once you start adding investment properties into the mix, things can get more complicated with tax—but even then we can usually take care of things for a moderate fee.

TAX ADVICE
We are here to help you make sure you are doing the right thing and complying with the ATO’s guidelines and regulations. We offer monthly packages to maintain your accounts on a regular basis. We have the support of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, CPA Australia, The Tax Institute and of course the ATO.
TAX AUDITS
Getting audited by the ATO is not a bad thing. In fact it is a good way to confirm that your affairs are in the best possible order. We are here to help you make sure the ATO understands the background of your returns and why you’re using those dance shoes and your makeup as deductions.
